Bedding color

For sunny spots:

Dynamite Pansies The Dynamite series of Pansies is a large-flowered selection known for a broad color selection and real flower power. They provide profuse blooms on a compact plant from fall through spring. Available in solid colors and mixes, Dynamites are splashy color for a sunny garden spot or pot.

For shady spots:
SuperNova The SuperNova series of English Primroses offer brightly colored, extra-large flowers on a compact stem for a neater appearance. The flowers show above the leaves from all sides without falling over in storms. SuperNova Primroses offer better disease resistance and greater temperature tolerance than older varieties. They come in a rainbow of colors and will bloom all through the cool season.

Cool Color in the Landscape:
For sunny spots:
Euonymus ‘Ivory Jade’ Has cream and green, rounded leaves which blush pink in the winter. It makes an excellent border, hedge or accent plant. Ivory Jade grows 2 - 3 feet tall and up to 4 – 5 feet wide and is easily trimmed to fit its spot. Use it in parking strips for easy care, year round color. As the weather gets cooler, Nandina ‘Sienna Sunrise’ goes up in flames of color. It cools to green again in the summer, but its new growth emerges fiery red. Use it in a Japanese garden for a bamboo-like accent, as a border, or in containers. A compact grower to 3 to 4 feet tall, Sienna Sunrise easily fits into most gardens.
For shady spots:
Aucuba ‘Mr. Goldstrike’ Glows warmly in the shade right through the winter. It offers color as a 4 to 5 foot tall background shrub to bedding color like the SuperNova Primroses. No need for shady spots to be gloomy no matter how gray the weather may be.
Liriope ‘Silver Dragon’ Liriope ‘Silver Dragon’ (green and white) and ‘Silvery Sunproof’ (green and buttercream) are beautiful border plants with glossy grassy foliage. They add color and texture to flowerbeds and container gardens. They grow to about a foot tall and will surprise you with lavender flower spikes in the summer.
