Week 18 of our pumpkin patch and it appears that both Mighty Mabel and Brutus are done growing. Now they seem to be just coloring up nicely.  It’s almost as if they sensed judging time is just around the corner and they want to look their best. Hope your pumpkins have done well and you will be bringing them in October 11th for judging!

A Gourmet Harvest Dinner for Four prepared by the professional chefs at Whole Foods Market in Cupertino! That dinner can be served to you in a garden setting here in the nursery or delivered to your home!

The weigh-off will be on October 11th at 11 AM, hosted by radio personality and author, Bob Tanem, America's Happy Gardener. Prizes will also be awarded to every entrant whose pumpkin is larger than ours. (We, of course, will not be in the running for the grand prize.) Come join the fun!
