Ronald K. Kanemoto, CCN
General Manager

Ron has over 30 years of experience in the nursery industry and has been the General Manager for Yamagami’s since 1990. Ron’s expertise and knowledge help to maintain the nursery’s high standards. He is responsible for overall store management, employee orientation and training, office management, inventory budgets, and sales. He is also the driving force behind Yamagami’s Nursery marketing activities, developing advertising strategies and establishing numerous public relations efforts by building excellent rapport with the community and consumer groups.

Ron has been an active member of several nursery industry organizations and committees such as, the Master Nurserymen’s Association and the Ornamental Horticulture Advisory Committee for Foothill College. Additionally, he has held Director and Secretary positions for the California Association of Nurserymen, Peninsula Chapter. Ron received a BA Degree with distinction from California State University and an AA Degree from West Valley College in Saratoga as a Dean’s Scholar.

Ron continues to push the Nursery in new directions and works hard at maintaining the friendly and knowledgeable reputation Yamagami’s Nursery is so proud of.
